WOONSOCKET, R.I. — CVS Caremark's MinuteClinic division has expanded its suite of services to now include vitamin B12 injections and the human papillomavirus vaccination Gardasil.
If your B12 injections are covered under Part B, Medicare will pay 80% of the cost after you meet your $257 deductible. You also have to pay a monthly premium of $185.
For those enrolled in Medicare, B12 shots are covered by Part B if administered at a doctor's office or clinic, or in Part A if received during a hospital stay.
