Bristol Palin has shared that she's been experiencing face paralysis affecting the left side of her face over the past week and doctors have said it could be attributed to 'a case of Bell’s palsy' brought on by 'stress or lack of sleep.

According to John Hopkins Medicine, Bell's palsy is "an unexplained episode of facial muscle weakness or paralysis. It begins suddenly and can get worse over 48 hours. This condition results from damage to the facial nerve (the 7th cranial nerve). Pain and discomfort usually occur on one side of the face or head."

On Wednesday, the 34-year-old Bristol Palin, daughter of the former Alaska Gov. and John McCain’s 2008 running mate Sarah Palin, posted on her Instagram story that she “woke up nine days ago with a weird little sensation in my face,

"I can't move any part of it," the "Teen Mom OG" alum said. "My eye is getting so dry from not being able to blink all the way. This is awful."
