NBA teams expect the Brooklyn Nets to "consolidate" assets as the team operates "in the interest of present and future cap space," according to ESPN's Jeremy Woo.

The Brooklyn Nets and LA Lakers could be among the most talked-about destinations in the upcoming trade season, with names like Giannis Antetokounmpo linked.

Antetokounmpo had been teammates with his brother, Thanasis, from 2019-2024. The younger Antetokounmpo suffered an Achilles injury and has not played in over a year. However, he has recently been cleared to return and is pursuing a return to the league ( h/t Christopher Kuhagen of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel ).
