According to the National Hurricane Center’s 11 am Tuesday advisory, Category 4 Hurricane Milton is 130 miles northeast of Progreso Mexico and 520 miles southwest of Tampa Florida, with maximum sustained wind of 150 mph. It’s moving at 9 mph to the east-northeast.

Hurricane Milton is rapidly intensifying as it barrels toward Florida, where potentially life-threatening storm surge, damaging winds and torrential rain are expected.
