Originally projected for March 29 through April 1, a burst of spring warmth helped push the blossoms ahead of schedule.
Forecasters are calling for a near-perfect spring setup on Sunday, before storms move in overnight and linger into Monday morning.
The warm weather over the weekend was enough to push the cherry blossoms from Stage 4 (which we reached Saturday morning) to Stage 5 Monday morning. Temperatures will be milder Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and we'll likely see peak bloom one of these days.
