Actor and former WWE star Dave Bautista may play "a big guy" in the movies, but in real life, he's trying to be closer in size to his Hollywood colleagues, he said in a recent interview. Bautista recently revealed to journalist Chris Van Vliet that he's lost 75 pounds in recent months.

Dave Bautista has denied rumors that his 75-pound weight loss is due to starvation, clarifying that he made use of intermittent fasting.

The “Knock at the Cabin” actor also clapped back at recent rumors that he achieved his shocking transformation by “starving” himself.

Bautista noted that he had to put on weight “between films” and only “had a very short period of time” to gain weight, which he did by eating french fries and pancakes. The Guardians of the Galaxy alum recalled the director telling him that he wanted Bautista “to look like a great big guy” and not “to look like a powerlifter.”
