The schism between Python 2.x and 3.x and other deficiencies frustrate its enthusiastic developer community.

For Linux, you can choose between Python 2.X and 3.X, as well as between 32-bit or 64-bit executables. Now that Python 3.X has matured more, my default suggestion has changed.
