Soleil the Belgian Sheepdog claimed the title of Best in Show at the 2025 National Dog Show, an annual Thanksgiving Day staple.

After the Best in Breed selected the best in group from the seven groups, Soleil, the Belgian Sheepdog, won Best in Show at the 2025 National Dog Show, earning a $20,000 prize.

Rue – whose registered name is GCHG CH Flyaway Grus BCAT CGCA CGCU FITB – competed in the Herding Group, but did not place in the group and therefore did not advance to compete in Best in Show.
