A man died after he was knocked down by a woman riding a scooter in Koreatown, and his family is hoping the public can help police identify her. The incident happened last Thursday just before 5 p.m.

Law enforcement is searching for the driver of an electric scooter who struck an elderly man on a sidewalk in Koreatown.

Police are investigating a felony hit-and-run after a woman riding an electric scooter hit a 70-year-old man and rode off in Koreatown on Sept. 12. The victim, identified as Danny Kim, suffered a head injury but did not want to be taken to the hospital.
