The Ganges (Ganga) is a trans-boundary river of Asia which flows through India and Bangladesh. It begins at the confluence of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers at Devprayag in Uttarakhand.
Rivers have the status of mother in India, and this is the reason why we get to see the beautiful scene of Aarti in the morning and evening on the river ghats. The Ganges River is prominent in India.
