One person was hurt and at least 10 boats were damaged when a fire broke out Sunday afternoon at Silver Lake Marina in Grapevine, sending a huge plume of black smoke billowing into the air. The blaze was extinguished after several area fire departments were called to assist, authorities said.

Crews battled a large fire at the Silver Lake Marina on Lake Grapevine. The fire department was called to the marina just before 1:30 p.m. Large plumes of smoke could be seen in the area around the lake.
