If you're upgrading from an HDD to an SSD, make the most of the extra speed it offers by setting the SSD as your boot drive.

To use the new SSD as your boot drive: shut down your PC, replace the old SSD, restart your PC, enter BIOS or UEFI settings (press F1/F2/DEL/Esc during startup), and set the SSD as the boot drive.
