At time of writing, there is no indication that Clark will play Friday night against the Lynx. Though there had initially been hope she might have returned to the court by this point in August, it's clear that Clark is continuing to rehab her right groin injury.

Despite a soon-to-be 14-game injury absence, Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White said that superstar point guard Caitlin Clark still wants to return in 2025. After Thursday's practice, White commented on Clark's work to return from a right groin injury.

Caitlin Clark has missed 23 of the Fever's 36 games this season due to various injuries and that number will grow.
