Oscar winner Sylvester Stallone invoked both George Washington and Jesus while praising President-elect Donald Trump at a black-tie gala Thursday celebrating the billionaire's landslide election victory at Mar-a-Lago.

The actor, whose action blockbuster career's apex coincided with the president-elect's days ruling New York as a real estate mogul, sang his praises at a Mar-a-Lago event.

Sylvester Stallone heaped praises on the president-elect, comparing him to his “Rocky” character and calling him the “second George Washington.”
