Tropical Storm Fernand is expected to continue weakening over the central Atlantic Ocean for the next couple of days and pose no threat to land, the National Hurricane Center in Miami said early Tuesday.

On the hurricane center’s official forecast track, the center of Fernand will pass well to the east of Bermuda on Monday and head toward the northern Atlantic. The hurricane center was also tracking a tropical wave that was poised to move into the Caribbean soon.

Hurricane Erin is tracking out to sea after bring days of high surf, dangerous rip currents and strong winds to much of the U.S. East Coast.
