KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Police are asking the public for help finding the man who robbed a Kalamazoo bank Saturday morning. Just before 10 a.m., officers with the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety were sent to a bank on Portage Street near East Cork Street for a bank robbery.

FBI Milwaukee and the Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating a man who robbed a bank in the city one year ago.

FBI Milwaukee and the Milwaukee Police Department are offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and Castle Rock Police Department assisted Edgewater police and eventually took the suspect into custody in Castle Rock – 31.6 miles away from the bank. The sheriff’s office also said on X that the FBI’s Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task force were involved in the pursuit.
