In Game 1 of the Western Conference Final, the Dallas Stars fell behind early, but scored five goals in the third period to close out a 6-3 multi-goal comeback victory.

After being outplayed quite thoroughly through the first two periods, the Stars trailed 3-1. Then, starting 32 seconds into the third period, the Stars scored three power play goals in 5:26 to take the 4-3 lead.

Stuart Skinner made 25 saves for his third shutout of the postseason as the Oilers beat the Stars 3-0 in Game 2 to even the Western Conference finals.
