An apparel shop in Lubbock, Texas recently found itself in a controversy involving the University of Colorado over a “Celebrate America” gameday shirt

The University of Colorado has declined to grant licensing for a 'Celebrate America' T-shirt charity campaign run by Texas Tech merchandise store Red Raider Outfitter.

Red Raider Outfitter owner Stephen Spiegelberg said the design and preparation for themes, including the “Celebrate America” game, begins months in advanced. Texas Tech Athletics approved the shirt quickly, but Colorado said it was “not interested.”
