Windows 11's terminal problem has a fix that isn't Linux
The default Windows terminal experience is bad, but it doesn't have to be.
Microsoft’s Windows Subsystem for Linux 2 was released nearly 3 years ago. This brought the ability to run the Bash shell and run Linux binary executables that you’d be able to run on Ubuntu Linux.
Windows Terminal v1.12.1098 brings the refreshed Windows 11 UI to the general public. Alongside that, it also fixes a Windows 10 crash issue, rendering issue, a retro Terminal effect bug, and more.
