The Green Bay Packers made a huge move in free agency by signing guard Aaron Banks, who is going to have a “very storied career,” in the words of Trent Williams.

In college, Banks did play some at both tackle spots, but he was considered a guard prospect coming out of Notre Dame, and that's where he's spent his entire NFL career. Virtually all of Banks' pro reps have been at left guard, which is likely where he will play in Green Bay.

Yesterday, the Packers signed Aaron Banks and Nate Hobbs on the first day of free agency. Packers fans were waiting on pins and needles to see if the team would acquire some of the flashier names.
