Alabama ended the season last week with a disappointing loss to Michigan in the ReliaQuest Bowl.

On Tuesday, the Alabama Crimson Tide lost to the Michigan Wolverines 19-13 in the ReliaQuest Bowl. It was a shocking result, as the Tide entered the game as 16-point favorites, and had pundits and fans across the sports world arguing that they had been snubbed from the playoff field.

Michigan earned a huge 19-13 win against No. 11 Alabama in the ReliaQuest Bowl on Tuesday. The shorthanded Wolverines, who were down several key players due to both opt outs and the transfer portal, led wire-to-wire after taking advantage of numerous Alabama mistakes in the first quarter.

Frustration was the word of the day for Alabama fans, as the Crimson Tide fell, 19-13. They were upset with just about everything that happened in Tuesday's game.

Alabama had three turnovers in four plays at one point in the first quarter, in which Michigan gained possession inside the Crimson Tide 's 30-yard line each time. Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Milroe threw an interception and fumbled twice in the first quarter, which ultimately was the difference on Tuesday.

Alabama, the first team left out of the College Football Playoff, was favored by more than two touchdowns but was stymied on offense.

The Crimson Tide's starter was Elijah Pritchett for the majority of 2024, a position battle he won and held onto from Week 3 against Wisconsin until the Mercer game. In Alabama's 28-14 win against Auburn Nov. 30, Pritchett and Wilkin Formby basically split each series, something that continued into the bowl game.
