Not all of the old Garden is gone -- evidently, much of the Celtics' original home arena has found its way into the floor of a house in Connecticut.

The Fever and Sun raved about the "amazing experience" of playing in front of a sellout crowd of 19,156 fans Tuesday night at Boston's TD Garden.

The Indiana Fever and Connecticut Sun played before a sold-out TD Garden on Tuesday, the second year in a row the WNBA has filled the arena to capacity for a regular season game. Fever guard Sophie Cunningham is hoping Boston hosts more games in the future.

Longtime fans of the Boston Celtics may remember a night in 2009 when they witnessed what might be the greatest spontaneous fan performance in the history of the NBA. It was a typical midseason tilt unfolding in the TD Garden as the Celtics took on one of 29 opponents when the Jumbotron stopped for a second on a section of the assembled fans in the seats.

Caitlin Clark struggled, scoring 14 points on 4 for 14 shooting, and walked off the court at the end crying and clutching her leg.

The Sun hosts Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever on Tuesday at TD Garden. The game is scheduled to tip off at 8 p.m. and will be nationally broadcast on ESPN. Connecticut will also again face a former coach in the Fever's Stephanie White, who coached the Sun in 2023 and 2024.
