It was a typical midseason tilt unfolding in the TD Garden as the Celtics took on one of 29 opponents when the Jumbotron stopped for a second on a section of the assembled fans in the seats.
Caitlin Clark struggled, scoring 14 points on 4 for 14 shooting, and walked off the court at the end crying and clutching her leg.
The Sun hosts Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever on Tuesday at TD Garden. The game is scheduled to tip off at 8 p.m. and will be nationally broadcast on ESPN. Connecticut will also again face a former coach in the Fever's Stephanie White, who coached the Sun in 2023 and 2024.
