Celinda Levno, 71, died between Saturday night and Sunday morning from a "senseless tragedy," said the Association of Professional Flight Attendants.

Police confirmed that a suspect is in custody after taking the life of an American Airlines flight attendant who was on a layover in Denver; the incident was one in a series of attacks over the weekend.

Two people were killed, including a flight attendant, 71-year-old Celinda Levno, who was on a layover. Denver police took the suspect, 24-year-old Elijah Caudill, into custody. He was arrested after the fourth stabbing near the 16th Street Mall in downtown Denver on Sunday.
