Pepsi initially ditched its diet recipe that replaced aspartame with sucralose, but it didn't go over well with Diet Pepsi loyalists so now it's bringing the original recipe back.
On both nights, Del Rey tapped Addison Rae as her opener, and also on both nights, Rae joined Del Rey during the main set.
"Diet cola drinkers in the U.S. told us they wanted aspartame-free Diet Pepsi and we're delivering," Seth Kaufman, SVP Pepsi and Flavors Portfolio, PepsiCo North America Beverages, said in a release.
Diet Pepsi will also still have acesulfame potassium, or ace-K, which PepsiCo said it added to the drink in late 2012 to help prevent its taste from degrading over time.
