Fauja Singh, known as the Turbaned Torpedo and believed to be the world’s oldest marathon runner, has died at 114 after being hit by a car in India.

A man who endured so much and witnessed so much said his greatest regret was not doing more to inspire young people.

Speeding SUV driver Amritpal Singh Dhillon told police he panicked after hitting victim and fled; learnt he was legendary marathon runner Fauja Singh through media later.
