FC Barcelona published an official statement regarding its midfielder Gavi around two hours after beating Deportivo Alaves in a vital La Liga clash.

Gavi's renewal is the fourth that Barcelona has secured in recent days, following the contract extensions of center-back Ronald Araujo until June 2031, full-back Gerard Martín until June 2028, and midfielder Pedro González 'Pedri' until June 2030.

After Pedri's renewal, Barcelona announced on Friday the extension of Gavi's contract, with the midfielder also signing until 2030.
