Oklahoma City firefighters responded to a house fire near Southwest 212st & Independence early Wednesday morning. Firefighters blocking off the street as they work to put out the heavy flames from that house. No one was in the home at the time of the fire. There was significant damage to the property. The cause is under investigation.

A house exploded in Haymarket, Virginia on Tuesday evening as firefighters were on the scene responding to a gas leak.

A house exploded in Haymarket Tuesday afternoon. First responders headed to the 5900 block of Colby Hunt Ct. for a gas leak at a home around 4:15 p.m., officials said. Responders evacuated the home. Officials believe that an underground contractor hit a natural gas line.
