Klarna Group Plc has filed for a U.S. initial public offering at a weak moment for company debuts, though the fintech player thinks it can offer investors more than just its buy-now-pay-later products.

Klarna Group Plc filed publicly for a US initial public offering in what could be one of the year’s biggest financial company listings.

Swedish financial services company, Klarna Group (KLAR), on Friday filed a registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission relating to a proposed initial public offering of its ordinary shares.
