Actor Julian McMahon, best known for his roles in "Nip/Tuck" and "Fantastic Four," has died at age 56 after a "valiant" battle with cancer.

He played a half-human, half-demon in the WB supernatural series “Charmed” and a playboy plastic surgeon in the FX series “Nip/Tuck.”

Julian McMahon's decades-long career in film and television includes performances opposite everyone from Sandra Bullock to Nicolas Cage.
