Former Ohio State and Syracuse quarterback Kyle McCord was one of the final preseason cuts made by the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles have also waived guard Kenyon Green, per CBS insider Matt Zenitz. Green was acquired from the Houston Texans in the C.J Gardner-Johnson trade and was expected to compete for a roster spot, but he battled multiple injuries during training camp and got stuck with the third-team OL.

McCord was cut by the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday as the Pennsylvania native delievered a subpar preseason following his section by the Eagles with the 181st pick in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. In his final preseason contest against the Jets on Friday, McCord finished 15-of-35 for 136 yards and an interception.
