If the Los Angeles Lakers eventually make LeBron James available, one of the teams expected to be interested is the New York Knicks. The Knicks, whether they want to add James because of off-the-court reasons or because he's still one of the better players in the NBA, would be wise to show some sort of interest in him.

According to agent Rich Paul, James may be ready to move on if the Lakers can’t build a true championship contender.
