Among MacBook Pros, the best deal I've spotted so far is a $250 discount on a 14-inch M4 model with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It randomly fell to $1,715.05 three times in May, according to the price-tracking site CamelCamelCamel, but otherwise its Prime Day price of $1,749 is its best deal since launch.

Apple has come a significant distance in reducing the MacBook Air’s price, and Amazon is pushing the value even harder on Prime Day.

That's an outstanding price on one of my favorite MacBooks in recent years (I love that Midnight colorway). The M2 chip may not be the latest in the lineup, but don't underestimate it - it's a fantastic system for work or school, everyday browsing, and even less-intensive gaming.
