Local leaders in Los Angeles spoke on immigration enforcement operations in the city and announced they have filed a motion to intervene in a federal lawsuit at a press conference Tuesday afternoon.

During an afternoon press conference with Bass, City Council member Eunisses Hernandez and Council President Marqueece Harris-Dawson, Bass stated that the raid “was another example of the [Trump] administration ratcheting up chaos by deploying what looked like a military operation in an American city.”
