The Mystics have been the WNBA's biggest surprise team so far in the 2025 season, largely thanks to their top-two draft picks.

The Fever and Mystics collected rebounds at nearly the same rate last season (35.1 and 31.9 boards per game, respectively). The Mystics' 43.2% shooting percentage from the field this season is 5.3 percentage points higher than the Fever have given up to their opponents (37.9%).
