Paetongtarn Shinawatra, Thailand’s youngest prime minister and scion to the country’s most prominent political dynasty, may lose power barely a year after taking the top political office.

Bangkok — Thailand's Constitutional Court suspended Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra on Tuesday, pending an ethics investigation over accusations she was too deferential to a senior Cambodian leader when the two discussed a recent border dispute in a phone call that was leaked.

If Paetongtarn is dismissed from her role, it would be the third instance for the Shinawatra family of an elected member being ousted before completing a full term.
