One of the biggest stories this offseason already has been the return of former Seattle Seahawks head coach to the NFL, Pete Carroll. Last week, Carroll was announced as the next head coach for the Las Vegas Raiders. The 73-year-old had been out of football for a year but now he is back and ready for perhaps his greatest challenge yet.

Perhaps the only one at the news conference who matched his enthusiasm was former running back Marshawn Lynch, who screamed “Raaiiidddeeerrrsss!” when Carroll said he wanted Allegiant Stadium to be filled with fans of the home team. Opposing fans often make it feel like a neutral or away game for the Raiders.

The Raiders owner expects that Carroll and Spytek will be the right fits for their jobs — and will be with the team for the duration.
