Game Pass members can now play over 50 old-school games for free. Microsoft's Retro Classics is a library of old-school Activision and Blizzard games from the '80s and '90s, like Pitfall! and MechWarrior 2.

With this, Xbox could easily boast the best backwards compatibility suite the console world has ever seen, far surpassing anything that Nintendo and PlayStation are able to offer. Sure, Antstream is available on PlayStation as well, but this whole Xbox Retro Classics initiative suggests Microsoft has even more of a keen interest in the program.

Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass is teaming up with Antstream Arcade to offer Game Pass subscribers a collection of retro games with titles from the original Atari, MS-DOS, and the PlayStation.
