Florida lawyer Roy Black, widely known for several high-profile cases from Jeffrey Epstein to William Kennedy Smith, has died at age 80.

Black, who died Monday at his Coral Gables home, was hired as a possible trial attorney in Jeffrey Epstein’s Palm Beach sex-abuse case but Epstein never went to trial. Instead, he took a plea deal.
