Squid Game series creator Hwang Dong-hyuk has lost at least 10 teeth while making three seasons of the popular Netflix series. He’d lost several teeth during the production of the first season, and then lost two more while developing the third and final chapter.

"I had to pull out about eight teeth in season 1 and now I have two teeth more out," creator-writer-director Hwang Dong-hyuk tells EW.

“Squid Game” Season 2 was seven episodes and ended on a cliffhanger. The season also introduced a new characters such as Dae-ho (Kang Ha-neul), Hyun-ju (Park Sung-hoon), Yong-sik (Yang Dong-geun), Geum-ja (Kang Ae-sim), Jun-hee (Jo Yu-ri), and the games’ guard No-eul (Park Gyu-young).
