Thunderbolts* arrived in theaters earlier this month, but is *The New Avengers a box office flop or a much-needed win at a time when those have been few and far between for Marvel Studios and the MCU?

Fans still have plenty to look forward to, even if it means waiting a few more months to see it all come to fruition. And there's plenty of reason to be excited about being a Marvel fan right now, namely "Thunderbolts*," aka "The New Avengers," some of whom will be featured in the now-delayed films.

"Doomsday" is set to bring Robert Downey Jr. back to the franchise as villain Doctor Doom, Marvel revealed at Comic-Con in July. Downey now joins a star-studded list of returning names, as seen in a more than five-hourlong livestream in March.
