Netflix‘s latest mini-series, Untamed, starring the veteran Eric Bana, puts quite an emphasis on its location. Set in the Yosemite National Park, the series follows a murder mystery that keeps things fresh and interesting until the very end.

Where have you seen them before? Starred as Australian's most infamous criminal in Chopper, which was a breakout role. Since then has featured in Black Hawk Down, Troy and played the Incredible Hulk in a pre-MCU version of the superhero. Also starred in adaptation of The Dry and his previous television role was Dirty John.

Untamed does a good job of wrapping up its loose ends in its six episodes, but it also ends in such a way that we could easily see it returning for a second season, even though it is billed as a limited series. (Let’s be honest: That doesn’t mean what it used to.)

Netflix’s ‘Untamed’ is a murder mystery series that takes the audience to a unique crime scene. The story unfolds inside the Yosemite National Park as National Park Service officer Kyle Turner leads an investigation into the death of a woman who seemingly fell off the top of El Capitan.

As a skilled hunter, Maguire chases Turner through the forest, waiting for him to slow down as he bleeds out. Eventually, Turner collapses and starts to lose consciousness as Maguire finds him and points a gun at his head. But before he can pull the trigger, Maguire is shot and killed by Vasquez, who had secretly followed Turner to the campsite.

Where have you seen them before? Untamed marks Santiago's first leading role on screen. After launching her career on stage, she has featured in all seasons of the sci-fi series La Brea and the film Vineyard. Wilson Bethel.

Netflix’s latest original series, Untamed, is now available to stream. You might be drawn to it for the compelling murder mystery, but I love it for a completely different reason.
