The plot follows Athiyan, an encounter specialist played by Rajinikanth, who is relentless in his pursuit of justice, often blurring the line between right and wrong. His life takes a drastic turn when he encounters Sharanya (Dushara Vijayan), a fearless schoolteacher who stands against injustice, challenging his perspective.

Meanwhile, Vettaiyan had a bumper opening at the box office and minted approximately Rs 30 crore (nett) domestically on day 1. It follows the story of an IPS officer (Rajinikanth) who takes on the drug mafia. However, things take a serious turn when the woman who tipped him off about the drugs gets raped and murdered.
