Some employees are being asked to relocate as the largest private employer in the U.S. builds up hubs in Arkansas and California

Walmart Inc.'s (NYSE: WMT) move to close its corporate office in Charlotte this year will impact more than 250 employees.

Walmart says it is closing its office in Charlotte, North Carolina, according to a memo obtained by USA Today. The memo says Walmart is asking employees at smaller offices to move to its home offices in Bentonville and California.
