Australia allrounder Ashleigh Gardner has been named Gujarat Giants captain for WPL 2025, ending fellow national team-mate Beth Mooney 's two-year reign at the helm.

Australia all-rounder Ash Gardner has been named Gujarat Giants captain for the upcoming Women's Premier League (WPL) following her stellar performances in the Women's Ashes. Gardner, 27, took nine wickets with her off-spin and scored 190 runs at 63.33 as Australia beat England 16-0 in a series clean sweep.
