SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — Yonhap news agency says South Korea's impeached President Yoon has been detained. A photo shared by Vice President Kamala Harris from Jimmy Carter's funeral has gone viral due to the exclusion of President-elect Donald Trump.

Yoon was brought into custody about three hours after hundreds of law enforcement officers entered the residential compound in their second attempt to detain him.

Investigators from the Corruption Investigation Office attempted to forcibly enter the residence of the suspended President of South Korea, Yoon Suk Yeol, to execute an arrest warrant. They encountered resistance from his lawyers and security personnel.
