The schedule is still under wraps but Gucci will be the fashion week opener with its "unified" runway show to be staged on Feb. 25.

PARIS — Alessandro Michele’s Valentino couture debut was the most anticipated ticket of Paris Couture Week, and the designer didn't disappoint with a lavish spectacle at the Palais Brongniart, a fittingly historic backdrop for his past-meets-present storytelling.

The designer tapped American photographer Tina Barney to shoot the “Gucci Together” campaign fronted by real couples and families that are part of the fashion industry.

Valentino presented a dizzying display at Paris haute couture week, fusing the past and present in theatrical, ostentatious designs. As the most hotly anticipated show of the week, Valentino’s spring/summer 2025 show was Alessandro Michele’s debut couture outing at the Italian fashion house.

Hermès menswear, steeped in stealth chic, was another highlight of the season, with a focus on luxe outerwear crafted in the maison's signature buttery leather and chic knits. Top coats, toggle coats and car coats worn over snuggly knit turtlenecks set the mood for a cozy winter dressing, which is high on quiet luxury.
