After adding Paul George to join Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey, they have just as good a chance as anybody in the league. As for other teams, they have to focus on the draft lottery and see what they can do in order to help their future and push themselves forward.

With 23 regular-season games remaining, George, Maxey, and coach Nick Nurse all plan to push for an appearance in the Play-In Tournament.

The Sixers signed George to a 4-year $212 million deal as they hope he can bring them to the next level. Philadelphia has not gotten past Round 2 in the playoffs since 2001 and hope George is the missing piece as somebody who can score in isolation or off the ball as well as be able to play solid defense on the other end.
