The San Francisco 49ers have a decision to make this offseason about Brock Purdy. The young quarterback could be seeking a lucrative extension, but the 49ers need to be ready in case they cannot pay the price.

ESPN’s Ben Solak isn’t so sure that extension gets done. In a piece about the upcoming offseason, Solak offered a prediction where San Francisco opted to make Purdy play out the final year of his contract.
