Voters in several Northern Virginia districts are nominating candidates Tuesday who could be elected to serve on the state’s House of Delegates.
FAIRFAX, Va. — Virginia Department of Elections officials have set a date for a special election to replace Fairfax County Del. David Bulova. The special election is set for Jan. 13, 2026.
Virginia House Speaker Don Scott on Tuesday set a Jan. 6 special election in House District 77, hours after Del. Mike Jones, D-Richmond, resigned his seat following his win in the Democratic firehouse primary for the open Senate District 15.
