Lindsey Vonn has fallen while on pace for a podium finish at a World Cup super-G on the course that will host skiing at next year’s Milan-Cortina Olympics. She went down on her left hip coming around a gate midway down but appeared to avoid injury.

Swiss Olympic champions Lara Gut-Behrami and Corinne Suter placed fourth and fifth, respectively, and defending downhill World Cup champion Cornelia Huetter placed sixth. Jacqueline Wiles in seventh was the top American finisher.
